Dean burnetti lost a case of mine where I was rear ended in a crash and at the scene of the crash the guy who rear ended me was given a careless driving ticket he hit me so hard it knocked the back window out of the truck Dean said we had to take it to trial because my doctor bills and lawyer bills were twenty grand and after paying that I would have nothing well he lost my case in trial and I ended up paying ten grand for a wreck I didn't even cause and have been suffering from pain ever since he had the nerve to look over at me after he lost and said how are you even still walking around with the massive herniated disc in your back and said this case isn't over well it was over and so was my life the two other people riding in the truck with me at the time went with Morgan and Morgan and won there case in six months it took two years for my case to go to trial and lost

Mr. Smith, we have not been affiliated with Burnetti, P.A. since 2012, nor do we even refer clients to one another. In your review on Burnetti, P.A.’s account, you mention that you have been dealing with your pain for more than 10 years. If your accident was 10 years ago and you used Burnetti, P.A., Dean Burnetti was not your attorney. We wish you the best of luck.

Having consulted them on a completely separate matter, Mr. Burnetti, seeing my broken arm, ask me about it. I explained I have fallen, but that it was my fault, but he convinced me to sign with him for that. After harassing me to Sign away my legal rights per the contract we have signed, Mr. Burnetti, then so me to get his name taken off the case after his Firm had scheduled my hearing and Leaving me without representation. He is the sleaziest lawyer I’ve ever dealt with. Unfortunately, when he was harassing me and getting himself removed from the case, I was going through chemotherapy, and I really wasn’t able to do anything about it. I’m done chemo now, and it’s time to revisit the situation.

Jeff, I am sorry that we were not able to stay with you to the very end of your case. This has not happened but a few times in my practice, but it does occasionally occur. Particularly in your case, we had been working on this file for a period of more than two years. Money was spent in costs, a lawsuit was filed, and dozens of hours of staff and attorney time was expended. But then we came to a place where communication from you was on a level that I just simply cannot tolerate. If you have complaints in dealing with Mr. Gadd in our office or any other staff member, you could simply have called me on my cell phone and spoken to me. But at some point, your emails went to a place that I just don't allow in terms of how we speak to women. Language that you used is not acceptable, and innuendos that arise to threats are not tolerated by me. At all times, my cell phone was assessable to you. If you had an issue you needed to discuss with me, you should have got on the phone and spoken to me. But rather you chose to speak in such manner to people who work for me and depend on me for their well-being and safety. Therefore, I am sorry but that is why you are not my client any longer. ~DB

Very nice guy , however nice doesn’t get it done. My daughter was bit in the face by a dog in 2020- allowed it to drag out until THIS YEAR to give the family a chance to strategy a bankruptcy. Couldn’t do a thing after . My daughter loses - and we foot the bill long term for someone else’s malicious dog . A very sad situation and mishandled !!!!!

Ms. Harvey, Your review makes it sound as if you brought me your case in 2020, immediately after the incident, and that nothing was done between then and now. To clarify, your daughter’s incident happened at the end of February, 2021. You initially went to Morgan & Morgan who filed a lawsuit and later wanted to refer it to me to pursue, and the dog owner had no insurance available. Because your case was already in litigation when I received it in late December of 2021, I had to wait for certain legal requirements to be met before the court would allow me to proceed. Once these requirements had been met in May of 2022, I actively set depositions, scheduled mediation, and booked your case for trial. I told you when you signed up with me that there was a possibility that we may not be able to recover a settlement because there was no insurance. The fact is, I aggressively pursued your case when other attorneys wouldn’t touch it. As with any case, there is always the possibility that the responsible party can file bankruptcy before, during, or after a lawsuit is initiated. In your case, your friends who owned the dog filed for bankruptcy, leaving no legal repercussions available to you. While you are correct in that this isn’t fair, it unfortunately is legal. You can at least take comfort in knowing that despite the outcome, you won’t have to reimburse me for the costs I spent in pursuing your case until the bankruptcy brought a halt to everything. While I understand your anger and frustration, you are forgetting we’re on the same side. I also took a gamble -- and lost, both time and money on this case because of the bankruptcy. Yes, it’s a sad situation for your family, but no, your case was not “mishandled”.

Absolutely the worst attorney. Said I had 2 cases. Gathered personal information during the nearly 2 yrs he had my medical malpractice case. I won't tell you the details of my case, but 2.5 months before my claim expired. He had another attorney send me a certiffied letter saying he was unable to represent me in my claim??? Wait what? Burnetti was my attorney, did he send me to someone else without telling me? Not once did his paralegal Theresa Green say there was a possibility I might lose the case. But she kept me from speaking to Burnetti through phone calls and visits. Who's running that office?

WOW just like any other big firm, not a big enough or dont want to go against Polk County so they just transferred me to Lawyer referral service. There is no one out there to help the normal person it's all about how much money they can get.

All i can say is they are non responsive and unprofessional in my opinion and i wasted 6 months with not one dime of work comp pay. I got upset and sent an email expressing that around dec 16th. I had a conference call on 12/21 and until that day they hadn't even filed for any benefits as they told me they did. I was given a website from work comp corporate to check on my case so they didnt know i could see that they didnt file it until that day and i hired them on August 6th. I ask for the $2000 advance back in middle of December no updates and i dont believe it was even filed according to my new attorney. I advised Burnetti i was facing eviction and my car broke down and i desperately needed that advance and got no response. That shows me the lack of care and compassion for the clients. Im so upset with the poor treatment i received. But im very confident in my choice to hire a new law firm. If i could give a minus 10 i would.

Very disappointed in how Dean Burnetti handled my case. Strung me along for 8 months as though they were working on my case only to get a letter 8 months later saying they are unable to handle my case. I begged for months for communication and did all the behind the scenes work myself at their request for all my medical records for them to be so unprofessional and not even call me in person as promised! Wanted a Christian organization to help me in my time of need and felt betrayed and unimportant the entire process. They lack communication, professionalism and the common curtesy you need when already hurt and needing assistance! I did not have one positive experience through the entire 8 month waste of time process. Please call someone else. Save yourself the frustration I went through.

They do nothing for you. Do not use them. Cant get ahold on them and they do not return your call or give you your settlement. I'm calling bay news 9 and getting another lawyer to sue them. They don't deserve 1 star.
