I will say again by knowing he gave you false information all together, to paint a picture of me in such a negative way.  Mr Steele is definitely not helping your law firm.  His ability to lie directly, his lack of professional communication to relay the facts.  Mr Steele with the approach he takes definitely can send potential clients another direction.\n\nAlso, Mr Burnetti.   You chose to speak of reviews I left for others.  Interesting tactic. My understanding of the whole history is that last Thursday, you contacted our office and spoke to Ron Steele, my assistant. Evidently, on that day you were interrupted because you were doing someone's hair and couldn't continue to talk to him. He made himself available to speak to you then on Saturday for a lengthy period of time about your circumstance. He told you at that time that he would have to talk to me since I would be the actual attorney who would be potentially trying to help you. He communicated to you I was out of town and actually out of the state for a family event. I came back into town around 10:00 PM Sunday evening. Obviously, I did not have the opportunity to speak to Ron that evening. Monday morning, I arrived at the office and was immediately in a deposition and then a Social Security hearing which occurred immediately after. So, I was not able to speak to Ron until after lunch time which would have been the first time he would have been able to speak to me. It is my understanding that you called the office Monday morning at 10:00 AM, wanting to know why Ron had not called you back. He did speak to you and explained that he had not had the opportunity to talk to me about your fact pattern. Ron has told me in that conversation you started to yell at him and tell him he was a horrible representative for our law firm. Despite all that, I went ahead and called you and left you a message to call me back. You never responded. At this point, I'm still more than willing to talk to you and try and help you. But you have to at least extend some courtesy of patience. Simply put, you should have waited. It would have been worth waiting for me to speak to you personally. Looking at the reviews that you have left for others, this seems to be consistent with your communication style. I wish you well and hope you find an attorney to meet your demands. I was forced into Medical Retirement after suffering injuries in a work-related car accident. I had heard Mr. Burnetti’s sponsorship for his office on the radio station Joy FM.  This connection gave me a sense that this was the office I wanted to work with.\n\nAfter the initial consultation with Mr. Burnetti’s and his paralegal Nitza Parada  I knew this was the office for me. Mr. Burnetti may not have hundreds or thousands of attorneys under him nationwide but what he does have is himself and a staff of dedicated and wonderful office personnel that you can call directly and speak to a live human. Let’s face it, most times you will only work with one attorney and his paralegal. A staggering staff may just cause you to get lost in the crowd and you will most likely be known as a case number. I decided that Mr. Burnetti was the office for me; along with his office staff and his paralegal Nitza, this was the best office to handle my personal case.\n\nNitza was great at keeping me informed, calm and patient during the two and a half years it took to go through the legal process.  Nitza worked with me on how to properly document different items that I was responsible for. Thank goodness Nitza is very organized and helped me to be better organized. The offices are easy to access, and the office staff was always friendly and professional. Do not misinterpret Mr. Burnetti’s calm and quiet demeanor as a push-over, he is not but he does know how to do his job.\n\nMr. Dean Burnetti, Nitza, John Gadd (also a lawyer) were instrumental in getting me what I feel was a very successful outcome. I hope I never need his assistance again but I if I do, I will work with Mr. Burnetti again. I believe anyone would do well to entrust Mr. Burnetti for their legal case. To clarify, your daughter’s incident happened at the end of February, 2021.  You initially went to Morgan & Morgan who filed a lawsuit and later wanted to refer it to me to pursue, and the dog owner had no insurance available.  Because your case was already in litigation when I received it in late December of 2021, I had to wait for certain legal requirements to be met before the court would allow me to proceed.  Once these requirements had been met in May of 2022, I actively set depositions, scheduled mediation, and booked your case for trial.  I told you when you signed up with me that there was a possibility that we may not be able to recover a settlement because there was no insurance.  The fact is, I aggressively pursued your case when other attorneys wouldn’t touch it.  As with any case, there is always the possibility that the responsible party can file bankruptcy before, during, or after a lawsuit is initiated.  In your case, your friends who owned the dog filed for bankruptcy, leaving no legal repercussions available to you.  While you are correct in that this isn’t fair, it unfortunately is legal.  You can at least take comfort in knowing that despite the outcome, you won’t have to reimburse me for the costs I spent in pursuing your case until the bankruptcy brought a halt to everything.  While I understand your anger and frustration, you are forgetting we’re on the same side.  I also took a gamble -- and lost, both time and money on this case because of the bankruptcy. I got upset and sent an email expressing that around dec 16th. I had a conference call on 12/21 and until that day they hadn't even filed for any benefits as they told me they did. I was given a website from work comp corporate to check on my case so they didnt know i could see that they didnt file it until that day and i hired them on August 6th. I ask for the $2000 advance back in middle of December no updates and i dont believe it was even filed according to my new attorney. I advised Burnetti i was facing eviction and my car broke down and i desperately needed that advance and got no response. That shows me the lack of care and compassion for the clients. Im so upset with the poor treatment i received. But im very confident in my choice to hire a new law firm.
